It is a 1994 film, directed by Robert Zemeckis and it was written by Eric Roth. It is a magical realism comedy-drama that is based on Wiston Groom’s “The 1986 novel of the same name. Starring by award winning actor and actresses: Tom Hank, Robin Wright, Gary Sinise, Mykelti Williamson, and Sally Field. It runs 142 minutes of time to watch the entire movie. It had a budget of $55 million and had $678.2 million in their box office. It was released on July 6, 1994 in United States.
The movie is all about a simple man named Forrest Gump. He is a slow-witted person. In 1951, in Greenbow, Alabama in 1951 with his mother. He has his bestfriend named Jenny Curan whom he knew on his first day of school on the school bus. They were both there for each other till the end. Despite of Forrest’s being low IQ, he possessed great achievements in life. He got his wisdom through his beloved mother.
I highly recommend this movie! It has a lot of life advices and guidelines. The story shows how dedication, loyalty and faith helps you to achieve great things in life despite of your conditions or problems. This movie is suitable for young adults and teenagers because it is wisdom abundant and has a lot of interesting and funny scenarios.
